Frequently asked questions

Is this only for software and coding roles?

No. Inline Interview reads whatever is actually on your resume. If your project is about ore beneficiation, transformer protection or a heat exchanger, you get questions about ore beneficiation, transformer protection and heat exchangers. Software is just one of the branches we cover.

Where do the questions come from?

Only from your resume and from the explanation you write about your own projects. We do not pull questions from a generic question bank, and we do not invent experience you never claimed.

What exactly do I get on the paid plan?

A detailed question bank, each with a one-line reason an interviewer would ask it and a full answer written in simple spoken English based on your work, plus likely follow-ups, and a watermarked PDF you can download and revise offline.

What does the free plan show?

Up to ten questions with full answers, taken from one project and your skills section. They are readable on the website only, no PDF download on the free plan.

How many times can I use one purchase?

One purchase covers five resume parses. So you can update your resume, or generate a fresh bank for a different role, up to five times.

Can I upload a scanned or photographed resume?

No. We need real text, so image-based PDFs are rejected. You can upload a text PDF or DOCX under 2 MB, or paste your resume as plain text or LaTeX, LaTeX usually gives the cleanest parsing.

How do I get a bigger discount?

Find your college’s campus ambassador in our directory and ask them for a code. If your college does not have one yet, you can apply to become the ambassador yourself.

Is my resume data safe?

We store your resume as text so we can regenerate your bank, and we never sell it or share it with recruiters. You can delete a prep session from your dashboard at any time.
